POLICE and Crime Commissioner for West Mercia has invested in digital forensics, which helps investigations move faster and ensures victims have their devices returned quicker.
The investment was made to meet the demand placed on police, by growing technology with devices holding more data than ever before.
Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion said “This is an example of how my investments can make a real impact on victims and communities.
“Whilst a HMICFRS report released today shows that there are many improvements to be made at national level, I am pleased that victims in West Mercia will have the many benefits this technology brings.
“The commitment I make, is part of a wider investment in technology across West Mercia which has a positive impact on our communities.”
