THREE teenagers took the top spots at this year’s Find A Star at Longbridge Social Club.
It was a hotly contested final with genres ranging from folk to musical theatre and everything else in between.

Izzy Giorgio-Jones, who is 16 and from Bilston, won first prize, wowing the judges with Easy on Me by Adele, along with Don’t You Feel Like Crying, Needle in a Haystack, Leona Lewis’ festive classic One More Sleep and an explosive rendition of Purple Rain.

In second was Georgia Mills, 17, whose set included an acoustic version of Radiohead’s Creep and Feeling Good.
And in third was 16-year-old Longbridge crooner Zakk Dein – he performed ‘It’s Beginning to Look a l0t Like Christmas’, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, Ed Sheeran’s Supermarket Flowers and Frank Sinatra’s You Make Me Feel So Young and My Way.
Izzy, a former winner of Sandwell’s Got Talent, said: “Everyone tonight was amazing – they were all so different and I didn’t know how it was going to go.
“I’m shocked to have won.”
Proud mum Annette added: “I’m speechless – she has been singing since she was four and has always been a performer but for her to win this is incredible.”
The competition, organised by Tony Maslen from the Rubery Festival, took place over several weeks at Longbridge Social Club.

The field was whittled down from more than 100 singers and musicians and the decision was a tough one for the six-strong judging panel.
There were cash prizes for the top three with the winner taking £1,000.
