Catshill Under 14 Girls Football team receives £1450

A MASSIVE £1450 was given to Catshill Under 14 Girls Football team from the ASDA Foundation via its Bromsgrove branch.

The money received will hope to make the club stronger and provide vital training equipment such as a first aid kit, dugout shelters and training aids.

Chris Gagg, Team Manager, said the team is thrilled to receive such a big donation and that he cannot thank ASDA enough.

“It is from initiatives by global companies like ASDA that we are able to go above and beyond with training equipment and facilities.

“Their help will make our club stronger and more able to make these few precious years of grassroots football the best they can be.”

The club also gives special thanks to their local sponsors, KJ Bookkeeping and Payroll Services Limited and Rygor, who have provided the team with home and away kits.

The ASDA Foundation aims to support grassroots organisations in local communities.

Chris added: “Grassroots football is a wonderful thing.

“It introduces boys and girls to competitive sport, gives them a chance to develop new skills, gain new friends and potentially find talents they never knew they had.

“Clubs like Catshill and thousands of similar clubs across the country simply could not do what they do without help.”
