TRAVEL ALERT - No Trains to Bromsgrove tomorrow because of engineering works

Bromsgrove Editorial 15th Oct, 2022   0

RAIL USERS are being advised there will be no trains between Longbridge and Bromsgrove and Droitwich tomorrow (Sunday, October 16).

Throughout the day, there will be rail replacement buses running between Longbridge and Droitwich Spa (calling at Barnt Green and Bromsgrove).

The changes to the route have been made because of engineering work taking place at Birmingham New Street and also between Ledbury and Hereford, closing some lines.

Services will start / terminate at Birmingham Snow Hill instead of Birmingham New Street and will not call at University or Bromsgrove.

Services also will also not run between Ledbury and Hereford.

People should check their journeys before they travel.

Using rail replacement buses

Passengers should  have a valid train ticket before they get on the bus.

Non-folding bicycles cannot be taken on the bus. There may be limited space available for folded bicycles, so entry will be at the driver’s discretion.

Assistance dogs will always be carried.

Customers with disabilities will be asked about the best journey options to enable them to travel.

West Midlands Railway may offer a range of choices including taxi, minibus, a diverted journey, bus or coach.
