QUICK-acting police officers seized this motorbike being ridden illegally in Northfield this afternoon.
Around 12.50pm, the rider turned into Fourlands Road and was unaware the officers were there.
By the time he realised it was too late for him to restart it and ride off so he dumped it and ran.
The officers then confiscated the bike.
One of the officers told the Standard: “It was a case of us being in the right place at the right time and we were able to relieve him of it.”
