BROMSGROVE Library will hold a book launch and presentation next Friday, September 9, celebrating the 100th anniversary of AE Housman’s ‘Last Poems’, with a special centenary edition.
The free presentation will see Linda Hart and Max Hunt shed light on letters written by the Bromsgrove poet.
Anna Dear will also read selected poems on the evening.
‘Last Poems’ was published in 1922 and this special centenary edition – published by the Housman Society and available for a special price of £12 – contains an introductory essay and commentaries on each of the 41 works.
The event starts at 6.30pm with light refreshments 30 minutes before.
