ST JOHNS Court opened its grounds to Bromsgrove businesses in their first annual food, beverage and craft festival as part of Care Home Open Week.
St John’s residents enjoyed two live performances from Pan Maestro and an ABBA tribute act.
The festival also allowed residents to display the crafts they’ve been making over the past few months.
The businesses that joined the festival included Bayleys of Bromsgrove The Dry Spy and Meadow Mill bakery.
Many local workers dined at the festival on their lunch hour and got a 10 per cent discount.
Care Home Open Week is a national event hosted by Championing Social Care that took place between June 27 and July 3 to connect care and nursing homes with their local communities and to challenge misconceptions about the role of carers.
St John’s Court activities lead Ben Line said: “I would like to firstly express our deepest gratitude to all the businesses that supported our fantastic celebration.
“I would also like to reflect on all of the special memories we have made here at St John’s Court over the years and remain committed to making many more.”
