KINGS Norton Rugby Football Club are holding a Junior TAG Rugby Festival featuring children from 15 local Primary schools at Hopwood Park on Tuesday, June 14.
The event will start at 3:45pm and will be the first time that many of the children will be playing or learning about Rugby.
The event is being run alongside Birmingham City Council and it’s hoped that Community Games mascot ‘Buddy’ will be there to meet the children.
The Rugby Club is also assisted in yesterday’s Community Games between midday and 5pm at Victoria Common in Northfield.
The club are celebrating their centenary this year as well as 50 years at their Ash Lane headquarters.
The club are heavily involved in supporting Junior Rugby in Alvechurch, Redditch and Barnt Green together with helping children from Longbridge and West Heath to get into the sport.
