A RESIDENT at Bromsgrove’s Brook Court who shares her her first name and birth date with The Queen took centre stage for the retirement complex’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Elizabeth Guest planted a tree as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy during four days of events and activities.
Others included a performance by the Elite School of Dance, a traditional street party was held and a barbecue when the tree planting took place.
Sarah Bennett, manager of Brook Court, said: “Having our very own ‘Queen’ Elizabeth made the events extra special and gave us cause for a double celebration.”
