Rednal Hill Infant School children hold Carfest to celebrate Longbridge's motoring heritage

Bromsgrove Editorial 21st Jan, 2022   0

CHILDREN in year one at Rednal Hill Infant School held their very own Carfest as part of their learning on ‘Where Do We Live?’

A community effort led to an ambulance, police van and several Austin Rover cars – all manufactured at nearby Longbridge – gracing the school playground.

Mrs Brooke from Rednal Hill said the loud racing car proved very popular.

“The children were very excited to look at the different types of vehicles, and will be designing, making and evaluating their own moving vehicle over the next few weeks.”
