HOMELESS dogs are looking for somewhere to rest their paws this Christmas.
Birmingham Dogs Home has teamed up with The Observer in the hope readers will find a paw-shaped place in their hearts and homes for a four-legged friend.
The charity has seen an influx of unwanted dogs this year with life-threatening and debilitating inherited conditions being left over the lockdown period.
However it has helped to rescue, reunite and rehome over 2,000 dogs this year.
The Catherine-De-Barnes centre has 12 homeless hounds they would love to see in a home.
Birmingham Dogs Home said: “They have all been waiting very patiently to find their “furever homes”.
“If you’re looking to rehome and rescue a dog in the New Year, book a visit today to meet some of our current residents and help give a local rescue dog the new start they deserve in 2022.”
Milo is a five-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who loves a good game of tug of war.
He is in search of a home where he won’t be left alone and will be able to go on lots of adventures with someone who loves to play – just like him.
Milo can struggle to trust new people so will need an experienced owner who will commit to multiple meets at the centre before taking him home.
And he doesn’t like other dogs so will need to be the only dog in the home and no neighbouring dogs.
