Anti-social behaviour shocks volunteers in Rubery

Bromsgrove Editorial 29th Oct, 2021   0

VOLUNTEERS in Rubery repainted the six benches in St Chad’s park last Saturday, but by Tuesday morning one of the six benches had been defaced, with racist language being scratched into the new pale blue paintwork.

Members of the public had been pleased to see the improvement in the appearance of the benches which brightened up the area but are disheartened to see the mindless actions of other people committing anti-social behaviour like this.

If anyone can throw any light on this incident, they should report it to West Mercia Police on freephone 101.

Neighbourhood Watch groups across the country have launched a “SAY NO TO ASB” campaign to discourage anti-social behaviour in all its forms.

The campaign runs from 25th October through to 21st November.
