A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in Frankley.
The woman was taken to hospital after the attack which happened in Lismore Close at 3.30pm yesterday afternoon. Fortunately, her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
After the attack, officers from West Midlands Police carried out enquiries, trawled CCTV footage and conducted a forensic examination of the scene.
A 34-year-old man, who is known to the woman, was found in Tamworth and remains in police custody for questioning.
