Police patrols stepped up after spate of vehicle crime in Alvechurch

HIGH visibility patrols have been stepped up by police in Alvechurch over the weekend after recent increase in vehicle crime.

Officers received reports of items being stolen from three vans which were accessed by thieves and a number plate was stolen

PCSO Fellows has also been offering vehicle security advice and delivering number plate security kits.

Among the roads visited by the officer were Bear Hill, Tanyard Lane and Grange Lane.
