Charford councillors to support young people and ask them what they want to see in the area

BROMSGROVE Police are teaming up with councillors Michael Thomson and Kyle Daisley to support young people in Charford.

PC Jasmine Hutton and the two Charford councillors will be in St Andrew’s Church at 5pm on September 5 to speak to any young member of the community about what they want to see in the local area.

They will be joined by Rae-Anne Preece from Reach Out Bromsgrove and Coun Shirley Webb, portfolio holder for Housing, Health and Well-being at the district council.

Coun Thompson said: “Charford has had a lot to celebrate in the last two years.

“The pandemic has not held us back from making the large strides we have in combatting crime.

“However, we really want to reach out and support the local youth – this is their chance to tell Kyle, Jasmine and me how we can support them.

“With this information, we intended to apply for funding in the same ways we have been guided in other areas of Charford.”
