Bromsgrove Street Theatre took centre stage this week with more family fun to come

FAMILIES have been flocking to Bromsgrove’s annual Street Theatre events to see some amazing acts and enjoy activities for all ages.

This is the first time the programme has run since 2019.

The shows, running from 11am until 3pm, will be performed alongside stalls, activities, and walkabout acts.

Councillor Philip Thomas portfolio holder for leisure, cultural services and community safety at Bromsgrove District Council said: “It’s wonderful to have our events -which are so popular with our residents-up and running again.

“I hope as many people as possible get to enjoy this Summer’s programme of events – safely of course.”

On Tuesday Professor Chandler’s Punch and Judy Show, Bell and Bullock and Cabin Fever performed at Charford Recreation Ground.

Yesterday families enjoyed Bell and Bullock alongside Daft as a Brush at Wythall Park.

After a short break, the Black Eagles will be at St Chad’s Park in Rubery on August 11, alongside Angie Mack Hula Hoop Street Show.

Both performers will then head to Sanders Park for the final event on August 12.
