A SWASHBUCKLING celebration was held to mark the birthday of Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School volunteer Darren Walker.
He has given up his time for more than 10 years, planning fun events for the children.
Darren always holds a pirate party so he can celebrate his birthday with the youngsters and this year’s event featured a treasure hunt, a pirate-themed warm-up, waling the plank and fun mock sword fights.
The children also learnt about pirates as part of the activities which covered every area of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
