REPRESENTATIVES from political parties and independent candidates will line up at a virtual County Council Hustings on YouTube at 7pm tomorrow (Tuesday, April 6).
This is the first of several hustings events planned by Dean Smith who is also hosting the event.
He is urging any other independent candidates and parties not yet represented to email him at [email protected] – they should include their details and put ‘Hustings’ in the subject line.
The event itself will be 90 to 120 minutes long and, after two-minute introductory speeches from each candidate there will be 30 minutes worth of questions on local issues. Following that will be a question and answer session from the public and closing remarks from candidates and the host.
