Last chance to catch Rubery's 'straw-some' World Book Day scarecrow trail

Bromsgrove Editorial 12th Mar, 2021   0

THIS WEEKEND is your last chance to catch The Fairytale Scarecrow Trail created in Rubery for World Book Day.

The event comes to an end on Sunday (March 14).

The event was organised by the Holywell Primary and Nursery School PTA, which challenged villagers to come up with some of their favourite characters for people to celebrate – and they did not disappoint.

There have been some fantastic creations, including the Very Hungry Caterpillar, Horrid Henry, Harry Potter, Humpty Dumpty, the scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz and Stick Man.

Others included Chewbacca and a storm trooper from Star Wars, along with Where’s Wally?,  Spiderman and Supertato.

People are being urged to follow the trail as they are out and about on their daily exercise session.

Click here to visit the Holywell Primary and Nursery School PTA Facebook page for more information on the trail and to vote for your favourite scarecrow.
