YOUNGSTERS from Jellybabies Nursery, based at Longbridge Methodist Church, have had plenty of literary fun for World Book Day.
They came to nursery dressed as their favourite characters and learned about space through the story ‘Aliens Love Underplants’ before designing their own aliens.
Julia Donaldson’s The Smartest Giant in Town taught them about being kind and they made explorers’ hats and binoculars before heading out on a bear hunt.
The children also all received World Book Day book tokens.
