FORMER South Bromsgrove High School pupils now living abroad have shared their career experiences with the current Year 12.
They were contacted by careers lead Steve Clarke, who recognised the potential of bringing them together.
Meeting over video platform Zoom, the alumni shared their career stories from as far as Australia, New Zealand, Cyprus and Nigeria.
“Usually, we invite past students to come into school to meet and chat with sixth formers to enrich and broaden their understanding of their futures after leaving South,” said Steve.
“But with Covid restrictions in place, it was natural to move the event online, which then made the boundaries limitless.
“A call out on LinkedIn and networking through other social media channels gave us a rich harvest.”
Steve added that his pupils were very thankful for the opportunity.
