A HAMPER of delicious pies was donated to The Beeches Residential Care Home in Northfield this week.
The kind donation, which also included potatoes and vegetables for residents to enjoy, was donated by Jack’s Supermarket.
The New Road supermarket delivered the goods during National Pie Week, which runs from March 1 to March 7.
Manager of Jack’s Rubery, Ryan Bird, said: “We are proud to be a part of the community and want to help out wherever we can.
“The donations are just a little something to put a smile on the residents faces.
“What’s more, all of our pies are made in Britain, using produce sourced from local suppliers around the country.”
