A CENTURY of fatal transport accidents will be the subject of the Bromsgrove Society’s next free virtual local history talk.
The ‘Fatal Transport Accidents in the West Midlands from 1820 to 1920’ presentation will be given on Zoom at 7.30pm on Tuesday, February 16, by the now-retired head of history from South Bromsgrove High School Quintin Watt.
It shows crashes and collisions took place well before the advent of motorways and the A38.
Despite the slightly gruesome topic, attendees will enjoy Mr Watt’s engaging and light-hearted style of presentation.
Everyone is welcome to attend, but registration in advance is required.
