A RELIEVED resident at Bromsgrove’s Burcot Grange said she can’t wait to hug her family again after receiving the Covid-19 jab.
Shirley, along with all the other residents at the care home, had their first vaccine jabs at the end of January.
They are now waiting for their second dose in the coming weeks.
“Life at Burcot has carried on pretty much as normal throughout the pandemic,” said Shirley.
“But I’m happy to have received my vaccine and look forward to once again being able to hug my family.”
General manager at Burcot, Vicky Osborne, added how important residents’ health and wellbeing is to the care home.
“We sincerely thank all involved in the Covid vaccine roll out programme,” she said.
“It is so reassuring to see our residents receiving their first jabs – this feels a massive step forward for us all.”
