TWO DRUG-drivers were caught within hours near Hopwood and Bromsgrove.
In the first incident a motorist in a van was pulled over on the M42 between Junction 2 (Hopwood) and Junction 3 (Portway) after being observed by police speeding and tailgating other drivers.
Officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit carried out a drug wipe test and after testing positive the driver was arrested when they tested positive for cannabis.
Then hours later officers from the same Worcestershire OPU team smelt cannabis from a vehicle in front of them in Bromsgrove.
The driver was pulled over and a roadside drug test showed them to be positive for cocaine and cannabis.
