A BROMSGROVE hair stylist and beautician has opened up her own salon in Fairfield today.

Stable Nails and Hair Salon is run by Sarah Horton who changed careers from being a teacher.

She had always done hair and beauty informally and then returned to college and trained in the subject three years ago.

She said: “Hair and beauty was always a very keen interest in my life and since taking it up professionally I haven’t looked back – putting my all into my clients’ needs and requests.”

Sarah, who worked as mobile hairdresser until the lockdown, added: “I strived to open my own personal quaint little salon based in the country with a lovely cosy one-to-one feel to it for clients feel amazing.

“When Coronavirus arrived I thought ‘it’s now or never’ and decided to open and develop the idea.

“The idea and salon came to life with my family and partner supporting me and working all hours to get it done, so here we are – I couldn’t be happier with how it has turned out.

“With a wonderful small team and lovely clients we look forward to our future and the new normal in the salon with Covid-19 rules and regulations.”
