A DRIVER pulled over in Rubery in the early hours of this morning was twice the drink-drive limit and the vehicle had no insurance, tax or MoT.

Officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit made the stop around 2.40am.

Checks revealed the MoT and tax both expired in January and the motorist was arrested and taken into custody after blowing 79mcg to 100ml of breath at the roadside. The legal limit is 35.
