Finstall First School youngsters make 'isolation' music video about missing their friends and the teachers

CHILDREN from year one from Bromsgrove’s Finstall First School have put together their own isolation music video.

The lyrics of George Ezra’s Shotgun have been changed and personalised to reflect the emotions being felt by the five and six-year-olds about missing their school, friends, activities and teachers.

Jayne Tingle was given the idea from a friend of hers in Sutton Coldfield which set up a #musiclessonchallenge.

The video below was Finstall’s response to their challenge of making their own music video.

One of the dads – Tom Paxton – rewrote the words to the popular song and did most of the work.

Jayne allocated the lines by contacting each of the parents who were happy to be part of it through Facebook.

The girls from Owls – year two – at Finstall First School have also made their own video with rewritten lyrics to the song This Is Me from The Greatest Showman.
