Basement Project still there to help during the coronavirus crisis

Bromsgrove Editorial 28th Mar, 2020   0

THE coronavirus threat hasn’t prevented Bromsgrove’s Basement Project from supporting its clients.

The charity supports young people aged between 18 and 25 who are homeless or facing homelessness.

However the charity, along with Nightstop in Redditch, says it can accept new referrals due to the risk to both the client and the host.

In Bromsgrove, the Basement Project is running a virtual drop in via Skype, for support, emotional support and non-emergency issues.

To access the virtual drop in you will need Skype, which is free to download to a laptop, tablet or smartphone, create an account and then sign in and search for The Basement Project.

Staff can still be contacted on 01527 832993 between 11am and 4pm from Monday to Friday.
