THERE are problems on the Cross City Line because of flooding and fallen trees in certain areas.
West Midlands Railway is terminating and starting trains at Birmingham New Street with no services going north for the rest of the Second City.
There are also delays in and out of New Street Station.
From 2.30pm there have been no devices between:
Northampton and Birmingham
Birmingham – Wolverhampton – Crewe
Cross City North (West Midlands)
Coventry – Leamington Spa
Crewe – Liverpool
Services will continue to run where possible to ensure as many passengers as possible already on the network can complete their journeys.
Tickets purchased for travel today will be accepted on West Midlands Railway and London Northwesterly Railway services tomorrow (Monday).
