DRUGS were seized and a driver was arrested in Hagley last night.
The Seat Leon with five people inside tried to make off when police tried to stop it.
The five were detained for stop and search and then, when the drugs were found, the motorist was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and licence offences.
The officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit who made the stop had been carrying out proactive patrols in the area following a recent burglary.
