THE NEXT phase of walking and cycling improvements for Bromsgrove’s Sanders Park are set to begin on Monday, February 3.
The work includes widening the combined walking and cycling path from Whitford Road through the centre of the park to create a new, improved main access from Kidderminster Road.
The widening of the Sanders Park bridge, also part of this stage, will take place in mid-February.
The works are being carried out by Worcestershire County Council using part for the £3.4 million National Productivity Investment funding from the Department for Transport to provide better walking and cycling access to Bromsgrove town centre.
The link through Sanders Park is one of nine links.
This phase of the works will last up to five weeks, with the completion date dependent on the quality of the weather.
