COVERS of classic hits from Green Day, Nirvana, Guns ‘n’ Roses and Wheatus will be belted out at Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club when Bromsgrove Rock School stages its next gig.

The talented musicians, all aged between 11 and 18, will perform their end of term concert at 6pm next Sunday, December 8.

The youngsters meet every Saturday morning at St Peter’s Catholic First School in Rock Hill for sessions run by professional musician Brian Hoggard, supported by guitarist Loz Ruston and vocal coach Givvi Flynn.

Many of the musicians have now been working together for over two years, honing their skills.

As well as the covers there will also be some original compositions from the teenage band Limitless.

Admission is free to the gig but donations are requested to help fund the musicians performing at community events in 2020.

This year Bromsgrove Rock School provided live entertainment at the Blackwell Festival and Primrose Hospice summer fete and they will be taking to the stage on Sunday, December 1, at the Primrose Hospice’s Santa Fun Run at Arrow Valley Lake.

Call Brian Hoggard on 07720 211002 or email [email protected] for more on Bromsgrove Rock School and its events.
