THIEVES attempted to break into RSPCA’s fundraising shop on Mill Lane in Bromsgrove last night (July 29) but nothing was stolen.
According to police other shops in the area had also been targeted.
A statement on the charity’s Facebook page said: “Our staff were left shaken when they came into work this morning but we are pleased we have only suffered damage to the shop’s locks and shutters.”
RSPCA Bromsgrove works tirelessly to raise enough funds to help support animals in need.
RSPCA trustee Paul Crouch said: “I think it’s pretty disgusting that someone would want to target a charity shop.
“It’s hard enough trying to make money as it is without the fear of it being stolen.
“We would appreciate it if the community continued to donate generously as we are still in need of good quality donations.”
