Large police presence at Bromsgrove Station after 'theft of briefcase'

THERE has been a large presence at Bromsgrove Railway Station today of officers from British Transport Police.

The Standard was contacted by some residents concerned about what was happening while others said they had been told a briefcase had been stolen.

One said: “There was more than ten officers there so whatever was in the case must be very important.”

A British Transport Police spokesperson said in a statement: “BTP officers are currently in attendance at Bromsgrove station following a report of a theft.




“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
