RESIDENTS of Catshill have been contributing to an exhibition at the village’s Methodist Centre which will celebrate the area’s past, present and future.
The ‘Proud of Catshill’ collection will look to recognise the story of the local community, told by the members that live there.
Exhibits can include Catshill memorabilia, village street maps detailing places of interest or school projects that can be put on display.
David Morgan, the senior steward at the church, has also encouraged local artists to create a piece depicting either a significant moment in Catshill’s history or a picturesque part of the village.
Minister Rev’d Anne Smith said: “I have now been a resident in Catshill for nearly five years and i have been struck by what a wonderful village it is. “The residents should be proud of their village.
“This exhibition should give people the chance to share their own feelings and memories of Catshill.”
