THE DIRECTOR of Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust has raised almost £4,000 for Dementia UK after successfully completing the London Marathon.
Sue Harris, who lives in Bromsgrove, exceeded her expectations after setting her fund-raising goal at £2,500 and finishing the 26.2mile course in just under 5hrs, 30mins when her estimated time was 6hrs, 15mins.
Sue thanked The Standard for supporting her by highlighting her fund-raising before the race and said she was really pleased with her time.
“Knowing I had the Bromsgrove community, friends and family really helped get me over the line so thanks again.”
