PUPILS at St Bede’s Middle School had music in mind last week after taking part in the Arts Mac Showcase at the Artrix, Bromsgrove on Wednesday, February 27.
Students, including singers, the school orchestra, the Year eight band Unforgettables and an instrumental duet delighted the audience with their musical contributions as the youngsters performed along with St Bede’s feeder schools, St Peters and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, as well as students from St Augustine’s High School.
The following day the pupils were treated to a concert by artist Sody, a teenager with a great voice and loads of talent.
She came in to school to perform a number of her own songs and covers, as well as to discuss important mental health and bullying issues.
She made such an impact that school staff are hoping she’ll make a return visit to entertain students and share her experiences.
