AN ARMED robbery was carried out at the Tesco Express on Frankley Beeches Road in Northfield this morning.
A group of men armed with knives and a gun burst in at 11.30am, threatening staff and making off with cash.
Fortunately no-one was injured in the incident.
An appeal has been launched by West Midlands Police who want any witnesses or anyone with any information to call officers on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
