A COMBINED festive and end-of-year lunch was held by the Challenge Stroke Club just before Christmas.
As well as tucking into a traditional three-course Christmas lunch, members were also entertained by singer Jasmine Rawlins, who performed a variety of songs.
The Challenge Stroke Group, for stroke survivors and their carers in Rubery and South Birmingham, meets every Thursday from 10.30am to 2.30pm at Longbridge Methodist Church. Transport is available for people who would struggle to get there independently.
The group is also looking for volunteer helpers, as well as new members.
