POLICE used a stinger to stop a stolen VW Golf which rammed a police car as the driver tried to escape.
It followed a quick response from North Worcestershire Police which were responding to reports of a burglary early this morning.

The stinger was used to bring the car to a standstill and then police dogs were used to catch the three in the vehicle who tried to hide in woodland.
Trio was then arrested and taken into custody.
