YMCA Worcestershire is also after votes to help it fund a new project which aims to support young people with ‘low to medium mental health issues’ in Bromsgrove.
The group wants to use the Aviva Community Fund to provide one-to-one mental well-being support coaching for 48 clients over a 12-month period.
The charity is hoping to be awarded between £5,000 and £10,000.
A spokesperson for YMCA Worcestershire said: “Coaching would be delivered by highly experienced professionals who have delivered successful services in other areas.
“It would help people build their confidence and improve their relationships with family members and friends.”
The group will do this in partnership with Bromsgrove Youth and Community Hub, HeadGym and local schools and colleges.
