MEMBERS of Bromsgrove’s Men In Sheds were at the M&Co store in the High Street this week to launch their 2019 calendar.
Its contents have been very much kept ‘under-wraps’ until now but the Shedders hope the calendar will help secure the scheme’s long-term future.
Speaking at the launch Jo Hughes from AGE UK Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest which runs the project, said: “I am so incredibly proud of the Shedders and all they are doing to help raise awareness of the impacts of loneliness and isolation and the difference initiatives like Men In Sheds make.
“The calendar just shows how much we mean to the Shedders and the lengths they are prepared to go to to ensure that it continues.”
The group will also be making a special guest appearance at the fashion show being held at Bromsgrove’s M&Co on October 28.
Guests will have the opportunity to see the latest collection and have the chance to buy outfits themselves.
