Winterfold School set up 'Winterbucks' coffee service to raise money for Macmillan

STAFF, pupils and parents at Winterfold School had an early start last Friday morning.

They sold delicious cakes and ‘Winterbucks’ coffees which were presented in takeaway cups, perfect for those dashing off to work.

Together they raised a mighty £1,000 for the charity, a great effort for a worth cause.

Groups and organisations across Bromsgrove, Rubery and Droitwich have been busy raising money by hosting their own Macmillan Coffee Mornings.

Each year the charity encourages communities to get together and raise funds for people who have or are affected by cancer.

The ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ also provides people with an opportunity to catch up over a warm drink and a slice of cake.

More than £200million has been raised since the scheme was first introduced during the 1990s.
