BROMSGROVE Sporting have signed William Shorrock from Walsall.
The midfielder was a free agent following his release from the League One club at the end of 2017/18 season.
Shorrock made his first-team debut as a 74th-minute substitute in a 2-1 victory over Sheffield United in an EFL Trophy group stage encounter at Bramall Lane in October 2016.
Shorrock had been spending pre-season with the Rouslers and impressed in last night’s 1-1 draw with Alvechurch.
Sporting boss Brendan Kelly said: “Having come out of the Football League, it’s great to have William come to us.
“He’s a local lad and I am delighted he responded to my calls as he’s a great talent.”
