CATSHILL Methodist Church Centre is continuing its 50th anniversary celebrations with an art exhibition, writes Shannon Alcock.

It will take place between next Friday and Sunday, July 13 and 15, from 10am until midday and between 2pm and 4pm. On Sunday, the exhibition will be open from 2pm until 4pm only.

Local artists and visitors to the church have created work to be displayed and some of the paintings will be for sale.

Along with the artwork on show, two pictures of the Vulcan Bomber produced by Marlbrook resident Dave Morgan will be on show to recognise 100 years of the RAF.

Dave, a senior steward at the church, added “It was a great idea to host this short exhibition as part of our celebrations and we all hope visitors will enjoy both seeing local amateur artists’ work and the refreshments.”

Entrance to the exhibition is free. Refreshments will be available, including cream teas for £2.

Booking should be done in advance to avoid disappointment by calling Malcolm or Tricia on 01527 871315.

Visit www.catshillmethodists.org.uk for more information about the exhibition and other activities taking place at Catshill Methodist Church Centre.
