DROITWICH business The Car Lot in St Georges Square is celebrating its tenth anniversary, writes Anikah Imran.
And to mark the occasion and the firm going from strength-to-strength, owner Kush Datta will be expanding the business.
Local technician Rob Anscombe and bodywork specialist Carl Jacob are collaborating with Kush to create a ‘one stop shop’ for vehicle sales, servicing, valeting, mechanical and body repairs.
The Car Lot has also launched a 24-hour vehicle recovery service as part of the continued expansion.
Kush, from Bromsgrove, said “I am delighted to be joined this month as part of my milestone tenth anniversary by Rob and Carl, who are renowned as an excellent mechanics and paint and body shop specialists respectively.
” After ten very successful years in this prime location, I have made a further investment of around £50,000 and taken over the whole site, tying up with other tenants to provide a full service.”
The Car Lot stocks a range of 80 vehicles, from small hatchbacks to executive cars and large 4x4s.
Rob said he was delighted to setting up alongside Kush.
“My background is in engineering but my passion is for motorsport as I also ran a classic car racing team for some time and am an active member of the Midland Automobile Club competing at Shelsley Walsh in my Audi TT.”
