BROMSGROVE triathlete Sam Boswell has made a promising start to the season by taking two first places in two months.
Boswell finished first female overall at the Halesowen aquathlon in March and took the age group win at the Brat Sprint race at the weekend.
Sponsored by Elliott Nash Ltd, Boswell is hoping to race long this season but enjoyed her first triathlon of the year with a pool-based sprint consisting of a 400m swim, 20km bike ride and 5km grass run.
“The bike run was windy and incredibly cold for the time of year but I am happy to have a couple of races completed early season,” she said.
“I am looking forward to some longer events as the season progresses.”
