BROMSGROVE’S annual St George’s Day celebrations take place from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday, April 21, offering an afternoon of fun for all the family.
There will be performances from singer Vicky Else, the Nancy Butterfly Dancers, Artrix Songstars Choir and the Blackwell Concert Band, along with other activities and displays.
And, with Sanders Park’s 50th anniversary coming up in September, members of The Bromsgrove Society will be collecting memories and photographs of one of the town’s best-loved green spaces.
Bromsgrove District Council’s events officer Val Wilson, said: “Our annual St George’s Day event is always very popular and this year there is lots going on.
“Whether you’re one or 91, pop down and enjoy a lovely day out.”
She added the authority was happy to be working with The Bromsgrove Society to launch Sanders Park’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
