DUO Silvington will hold the Midlands launch of its new CD ‘Down the Line’ when it takes to the stage at Catshill Club on Thursday, March 29.
Bromsgrove Folk Club’s latest event sees former member of resident band Fairfield John Connor team up with singer Tricia Moore following his move to Devon.
John wrote many of Fairfield’s songs before he relocated and has continued to write some stunning songs
Tricia has been a regular singer at Devon’s Folk on the Moor and boasts a beautiful voice and accomplished guitar playing.
The new CD combines John’s new and old songs with classic favourite traditional material.
The duo has become firm favourites at Bromsgrove Folk Festival where, as well as performing, they also run the Festival Choir.
The music starts at 8pm and admission is £7 for members (under 25s £3.50).
Tickets for non-members who are always welcome are £9.
